February 2006
Over 120 people attended three public design workshops in Williston and Essex Junction on February 7-9, 2006.  The workshops were opportunities for people to talk directly with the designers of the eight alternatives on the short list for the Circ-Williston EIS. November 2005
Public meetings were held in Richmond, Burlington, and Williston on November 15-17 to present the short-list of alternatives and discuss the analysis which will be done in Step 3 of the EIS process. Approximately 100 people attended the three meetings. See Public Meetings - Short List Alternatives.
September 2005
Screening results for 21 alternatives were presented to local officials on September 15, 2005, at three public information meetings on September 20-22, and on the project website. List of original handouts presented at September meetings.
June 2005
Three Public Forums were held June 28-30 to present the approach being used by consultants hired by the Vermont Area of Transportation to screen a long list of alternatives to improve transportation down to a short list and to obtain public input and feedback. March 2005
The Scoping Open Houses in Jericho, Williston, and Burlington on March 15-17 were set up to give Chittenden County residents a chance to talk about transportation and community issues and have their opinions noted. Read more...
