Circ-Williston DEIS Public Comments Available

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) in coordination with the Federal Highway Administration is making available the public comments received on the Circ-Williston Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) and Draft Section 4(f) Evaluation. Over 300 comments on the DEIS were received through postal mail, faxes, email, and through the project website. Comments were also received during public hearings in Essex Junction and Williston. A Final Environmental Impact Statement, which will respond to the comments on the DEIS, is expected to be published in Summer 2008.

The comments submitted on the DEIS are available as downloadable PDFs. Each PDF contains a table of contents to assist commenters in locating their comment. The Final Environmental Impact Statement will provide responses to the comments submitted on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement.
